#9 Top WWE star joins AEW
Ever since AEW was former in early 2019, they have made a lot of headlines with the signing of several exciting young wrestlers from the indies, as well as big-name veterans from WWE. The Tony Khan-led promotion have signed former WWE Superstars like Chris Jericho, Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley), Neville (Pac), Luke Harper (Brodie Lee), and Matt Hardy, to name a few.
They even have a few WWE Hall of Famers in non-wrestling roles like Arn Anderson, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Tully Blanchard, and Billy Gunn. AEW have big money to spend to secure the signings of more talented WWE Superstars, and we could see a few current WWE Superstars leave the company in 2020 to join AEW.
The Revival look set to leave the company and AEW seems to be their likely destination, but this move wouldn't be a shock to most fans. Someone like Rusev - who could be a big boost to AEW's mid-card - could also join AEW. But, what would create a lot of waves is the signing of a WWE legend like Rey Mysterio, whose contract is reportedly set to expire later this year.
