For those of you who don’t know, Slate Randall, better known as Eli Drake in TNA, actually signed with WWE to be a part of NXT in 2013. Despite his 11 year experience prior to signing with WWE, he failed to capture the attention of the WWE management. He had a few untelevised matches and was released only after a year with the company.

This was a real shame considering the fact that he is now of the biggest stars in TNA. He has shown that he has the physical appearance, mic skills, and gimmick that could’ve made him a World Champion in WWE.
Needless to say, WWE failed to recognize a real main event calibre talent once again, and considering the roster WWE has now, Slate Randall would’ve fit perfectly with the current WWE ecosystem.

Sunil admires former world champions AJ Styles, Will Ospreay, and Kenny Omega for their ability to consistently deliver great matches as well as entertain crowds with their mic skills.
If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar. According to him, The Tribal Chief needed the victory more than Brock Lesnar, as the latter was already an established performer when he defeated ‘Taker. He would’ve also made that as Taker’s final match.
Always focused on making his work accurate and reliable, Sunil thoroughly checks his facts before writing his articles. When not writing for pro wrestling, he spends his time watching cricket.
