A few years ago, Cody pushed to form a stable along with Tye Dillinger and Tyler Breeze. He wanted to get out of his Stardust character, but WWE didn't want Rhodes to stop portraying the gimmick.

The WWE denied his request, adding to another reason why the second-generation wrestler probably wanted his release from WWE.

A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.

Breeze was a star in NXT but has been little more than enhancement talent while on the main roster. Breezeango did allow Breeze to expand his repertoire to comedy, but with Fandango hurt, it left Breeze out in the cold.

Since Rhodes believed in both Dillinger and Breeze back in the day, it wouldn't be crazy if Breeze wanted out from his WWE contract.

He's an extremely talented worker and performer, but his size is something that has probably kept Vince McMahon from giving him a sustained push. Don't be surprised if Prince Pretty tries to bring his style to AEW if his WWE tenure remains fruitless.
