The Rock quietly retired from wrestling in 2019. Though inactive, the former WWE Champion is still a worldwide attraction in the wrestling industry. Ever since stepping foot in the acting industry, Rock has been busy with his hectic schedule. He doesn’t have a lot of free time for other projects and that includes wrestling as well -- the thing he’s passionate about.
A dream match between The Rock and Roman Reigns has been in talks for years. Both Superstars were speculated to have a face-off at WrestleMania, but it hasn’t happened as of yet. If Roman Reigns defeats The Fiend at the Shows of Shows this year and becomes the new Universal Champion, Vince McMahon could bring The Rock back to WWE. He can have a final feud in WWE against his cousin Reigns which would end with him losing the match and then hanging up his boots forever in front of the WWE Universe.
This is why we have put The Rock in this list. A match between him and Reigns at next year’s WrestleMania seems probable.
