#9 Shelton Benjamin to RAW

May work better in a team

As of this writing, Shelton Benjamin remains off WWE TV, spending time healing at home from some nagging injuries. Although some have speculated that Shelton is good to go and WWE just don't have anything for him creatively at the moment. Regardless of that being true or not, Shelton should be returning to TV sooner, rather than later, but, what is there for him to do?

Shelton is 43 years old, and although he doesn't look to be retiring any time soon, his time to be a top singles superstar has seemingly gone. Shelton has spent the majority of his WWE return teaming up with Chad Gable. They had a short but decent run until Chad was drafted over to RAW on the post-WrestleMania Superstar Shake-up back in April. Since then, before his time off, Shelton was only sporadically used.

Other than completely jobbing him out, which is something I never hope to see, I think the best option for Shelton today is to head over to RAW and reform his tandem with Chad Gable, since Chad has nothing to do also, and maybe even go one step further and form a faction, maybe with Chad's other former partner, Jason Jordan.
