The SmackDown women's division should have been built around Becky Lynch, and at the beginning, it seemed like things were heading that way when she became the first WWE SmackDown Women's Champion in WWE history at Backlash in 2016.

Becky would lose the Championship to Alexa Bliss at the end of the year, and as pointed out by Becky recently on SmackDown, she hasn't had a Women's Championship match just about a year and a half now.

While there is a good chance that Becky may walk out of SummerSlam with the Women's Championship, it might just be too little too late. While Becky has yet to have a series of matches with Women's Champion Carmella, she has faced and defeated everyone else on the blue brand. So, a transfer over to RAW may be what is for the best, as she may get a better push and will have fresh faces to feud with.

Becky is a fantastic performer and deserves to be on top of either brand as Women's Champion.
