#7-8. Former WWE Superstars Brandi and Cody Rhodes welcomed their first child in 2021

Cody Rhodes became a household name in the WWE during the 2010s. Cody outperformed several other superstars, but never got to the top of the company himself.

Cody met his wife Brandi Rhodes while working for WWE. They tied the knot in September 2013. In 2019, Cody helped form All Elite Wrestling (AEW) as a rival to WWE.

Brandi announced her pregnancy on an episode of AEW Dynamite in December 2020. Cody also spoke to US Weekly and revealed that the couple were ready to welcome a baby girl.

"I am having a girl. I’m excited. I had a gut feeling. I’m excited, I’m proud. It’s gonna be really cool.… I’m not crying on camera." Cody Rhodes said (h/t US Weekly)

Cody and Brandi welcomed their first child into the world on June 18, 2021. Speaking to The Buzz, the former WWE Superstar confirmed that he would love to introduce his child to the world of wrestling.

“It’s a great industry. It’s finally thriving again. I’m so proud of being a pro-wrestler. I’ll definitely be bringing he or she, whenever I’m told or whenever Brandi lets me know; I’ll bring them around it. The sky’s the limit for a baby Rhodes, that’s for sure. My dad was really good, he just brought me around it. If I liked it, I liked it, and if I didn’t, he wouldn’t bring me around it [the wrestling business]. I think we’ll apply the same thing." Cody Rhodes said (h/t Wrestling Inc.)

Cody and Brandi are arguably the most influential power couple in the wrestling industry today. That could help their child make it big in the wrestling world if she decides to take that route in the years to come.
