10 WWE Superstars who committed career suicide

Some wrestlers in the WWE have hampered their own careers by making the wrong choices

#5 Jeff Hardy

Jeff Hardy killed his push by not agreeing to go to rehab for his drug addiction issues

“The Enigma” Jeff Hardy’s history with substance abuse is out there in public for everyone to read. He was among the few talents that the WWE wanted to make a star out of. He was pushed to the hilt which resulted in 3-World Championship reigns in the WWE and a feud with The Undertaker as well.

In 2003, Hardy had to leave the WWE due to his unpredictable ways, drug abuse, worsening performances and his hesitancy in attending the rehab. He returned to the WWE after stints in various promotions in 2006, but, had to again part ways due to similar problems which had caused his earlier release.

A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.

He would have been a living legend by now had he tried to stay away from substance abuse and would have achieved much more in the WWE that he ended up doing.
