10 WWE Superstars who lasted less than five seconds in a Royal Rumble match

Winner of the 2012 Royal Rumble, this is an embarrassing feat that Sheamus would like to forget. Making his way to the ring at No. 11, The Celtic Warrior decided to throw Heath Slater into the ring before he entered the match. Until then, Slater served as a punching bag for every Superstar who attacked him before entering the ring.

However, to his utter surprise, Slater would repay the niceness shown by Sheamus by eliminating him in just 2 seconds.

The match was eventually won by Shinsuke Nakamura, who went onto face AJ Styles at WrestleMania 34 in a losing cause.

One of the most famous Royal Rumble eliminations of all-time, Santino Marella, was eliminated in just 1.9 seconds after entering the match at No. 28 at Royal Rumble 2009. Running towards the ring at an incredible speed, Marella was eliminated by Kane who used the former's own pace by delivering a clothesline.

He was in complete disbelief after his elimination, arguing with the referee Charles Robinson that he 'wasn't ready'. Even The Big Red Monster couldn't stop himself from laughing at Marella's fate here.

The match was eventually won by Randy Orton, who then onto face Triple H in the main event of WrestleMania 25 in a losing cause.
