Bray Wyatt's mysterious aura may have fizzled out

He’s got the whole world in his hands. I still remember fans singing this whenever they heard the name Bray Wyatt. Such was his star power.

Bray Wyatt started 2017 with a bang by winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but went on a downward spiral since losing the title to Randy Orton by being involved in irrelevant feuds, inconsistent performances, lacklustre booking, and a PPV losing streak that just won’t stop.

"The Eater of Worlds" has now become almost an afterthought for the WWE universe. His only title reign didn’t live up to expectations, but he shouldn’t really be pushed aside by WWE creative. He has one of the most bizarre gimmicks in WWE right now, and that can be used to get him over with the fans.

I’m not saying that he should be handed multiple championship matches like Roman Reigns, but he should at least be involved in some meaningful storylines. If the fans are going to care about his character, they should be given something worth caring for. Would he be missed if he left the WWE tomorrow? No! And that’s because I don’t really care about the character anymore.

Needless to say, WWE is missing a golden opportunity with Bray Wyatt, and they need to realize that soon before its too late. For now, all we can hope is that 2018 gets a lot better for 'The Eater of Worlds".
