Like Nakamura, Hideo Itami also wrestled in Japan for All Japan Pro Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Noah before moving base to the United States to compete in the WWE. But, unlike Nakamura, Itami fought in Ring of Honor – an American wrestling promotion – before making the switch to WWE and wrestling in WWE NXT.
The youngest wrestler on this list, the Japanese Superstar has racked up over 1500 matches in his professional wrestling career which began in 2000.
Earlier in 2017, Itami had a feud with NXT Champion, Bobby Roode, which set-up a match between the two at NXT TakeOver: Chicago, but the Japanese wrestler wasn’t successful in winning his first WWE Championship.
Itami left WWE in 2019 after he asked for his release and returned back home to Japan to wrestle in NJPW after 5 years in WWE.
