Christian was successful at SummerSlam in a tag team and by himself

Christian picked up a respectable six victories at SummerSlam throughout his career, which isn’t all that surprising when you consider that three of the triumphs – against The New Brood, Mideon & Viscera and Droz & Albert – came alongside Edge during a tag team turmoil match in 1999.

The nine-time WWE Tag Team champion went on to win three more matches at the event, including in 2000 when he teamed with Edge again to defeat The Dudley Boyz and The Hardy Boyz in the first of many TLC matches.

After splitting from Edge, he teamed with Lance Storm to retain the World Tag Team titles against Booker T and Goldust in 2002, while he defeated William Regal in a seven-second ECW title match in 2009.
