Brock Lesnar retained the Universal title at SummerSlam 2017

One of the most memorable matches of Brock Lesnar’s career came at SummerSlam 2002 when, just four months on from his main-roster debut, he defeated The Rock to become the new WWE Undisputed champion.

Since then, “The Beast” has won five of his last seven matches at the event, picking up victories over Hall of Fame-worthy Superstars including Triple H, CM Punk, John Cena and Randy Orton.

His most recent win at “The Biggest Party of The Summer” came in 2017 when he defended his Universal Championship against Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe and Braun Strowman in the main event.
