Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano have been part of one of the greatest feuds in NXT history over the past few years. One of the reasons why the feud has been so successful is because the two men have such good chemistry.
There was a time when Ciampa and Gargano were best friends and were known as DIY. The former NXT Tag Team Champions once even lived together during their early days in NXT, but when Ciampa turned his back on Gargano in Chicago back in 2017, he was forced to move out of their shared accommodation.
Gargano and Ciampa were so close at one point that Gargano's wife Candice LeRae lived with the two men and The Blackheart was even invited to Gargano's wedding back in 2016. The two men traveled the world together and made their name in NXT before Ciampa turned his back on his best friend. Since then, the two men then became two of the biggest singles stars in the company.
