These two seem like a strange duo who decided to share a room, especially since Xavier Woods would have had a much better connection with his New Day teammates. But Woods and Tyler Breeze were both in NXT at the same time and were roommates before making their way to WWE.
It was even revealed that at one point during Tyler Breeze's NXT run, the company was about to fire him, but Xavier Woods was able to help him to come up with a new gimmick, which ultimately saved his job. It's perhaps less known that former RAW General Manager Brad Maddox was also roommates with the two men.
At present, Breeze has been sent back to NXT and Xavier Woods has been stuck on the sidelines for a number of months after suffering an Achilles injury back in 2019. Reports currently suggest that Woods won't be back in action in a WWE ring until 2021.
