#4 Matt Hardy and Tatanka

We move on to another short-lived partnership from the Ruthless Aggression Era. Now it’s the turn of a tag-team wrestling legend – Matt Hardy. Hardy’s least memorable tag-team was the one he formed with WWE legend Tatanka in 2006.

The duo won a non-title match against MNM at No Way Out 2006 but lost the title match they earned as a result. They lost the title match and split up soon after, with Tatanka getting released in early 2007.

It was a surprise to see Tatanka return to the WWE after over a decade. Even though he looked in good shape, the creative direction did not do much to aid him. Him and Hardy looked like a misfit team from the get go and neither was able to make the most of the setup.

#3 Kane and Al Snow

Speaking of unlikely and forgotten tag-teams, we now take a look at Kane and Al Snow’s unlikely partnership down in Smokey Mountain Wrestling. Together, the duo were dubbed as the fifth incarnation of The Dynamic Duos. Kane was wrestling under the moniker “Unabomb” at the time.

The duo found some success in SMW and won the Tag-Team titles once and had some memorable feuds with the Rock N’ Roll Express and The Thugs. The partnership between Al Snow and Unabomb ended after the latter joined WWE as Isaac Yankem DDS. Al Snow signed with WWE a month later.

Kane went on to become one of WWE's biggest ever stars while Al Snow was largely a mid-carder who catered to the requirements of a mannequin head.
