Jon Moxley left WWE in 2019 and it was a shocking moment for the fans. Not many would've thought that Moxley would leave a big-money contract offer and the fame of WWE behind him. But he had different goals and ideas which were not possible to execute within WWE.

Moxley then went on to sign with All Elite Wrestling, which didn't come as a shock to many. Everyone knew that Moxley would finally be able to reach his potential that he could never reach in WWE. Now, he is the AEW World Champion and the number one guy in the company.

Roman Reigns has been WWE’s go-to guy for the last five years. He has been in the main event of four WrestleMania shows. Vince McMahon wanted to make him the next John Cena, but that did not happen.

Reigns got diagnosed with leukemia and he had to relinquish the Universal Championship. He was also expected to win the title again at WrestleMania 36 but opted to not compete due to health reasons. Many things are said about Roman Reigns, but the fact remains that he is still one of WWE’s biggest names today.

Jon Moxley and Roman Reigns have a history as brothers in The Shield. There is no shortage of storyline content when it comes to these two. But the main thing here is that Jon Moxley is not Dean Ambrose. Reigns did fight Ambrose in WWE, but still, this remains a dream match.

The reason is that Jon Moxley is a no-holds-barred sort of world champion. He's more hardcore than Ambrose and he doesn't play around. Ambrose was more of a fun-loving lunatic. So Reigns going against Moxley will be a completely different ball game.
