In January, Samir Singh suffered a torn ACL during a scuffle with Bobby Roode. Samir and Sunil competed in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic tournament, and were on NXT and 205 Live for a brief period, before being paired with Jinder Mahal.
As it is with ACL tears, Samir is expected to be out of action for at least six to nine months, and is expected to make his return in the final months of 2018.
