Losing to John Cena made Wyatt look like mortal being which affected his character. After that, he became nothing more than a glorified jobber. He lost multiple PPV matches.
Then, suddenly he won the Elimination Chamber match out of nowhere to become the WWE Champion. WWE tried to surprise its fans by making Bray Wyatt the WWE Champion, but his reign was cut short. They didn’t even build him up to that moment making him an afterthought going into the championship match.

He held the title for less than a couple of months only to lose it to Randy Orton in a bizarre and awkward rivalry.

If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar. According to him, The Tribal Chief needed the victory more than Brock Lesnar, as the latter was already an established performer when he defeated ‘Taker. He would’ve also made that as Taker’s final match.
