Aleister Black was drafted over to SmackDown last month alongside his wife Zelina Vega and hasn't been seen on WWE TV in more than a month. It's unknown as to whether or not WWE has any plans for Black moving forward but it's a tough situation given the fact that his wife was recently fired by WWE.
Black reportedly requested a move back to NXT following his move over to SmackDown but this was rejected, and now the former NXT Champion remains part of the SmackDown brand.
The last time Black was seen on TV was as part of the draft episode of SmackDown when the brand decided to brawl following the opening of the show.
The most recent update from Black was from SEScoops who believe the fact that Black wasn't involved in the Battle Royal at Survivor Series could be a hint that WWE has forgotten him. The company could also be waiting for the current issues with Vega to calm down before bringing Black into the mix so that he's not associated with his wife on WWE TV.
