Seth Rollins was dethroned by Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania XL and took some time off WWE TV. However, it wasn't McIntyre who continued to be champion since Damian Priest cashed in at WrestleMania itself to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.
The Visionary returned on the June 17th, 2024, episode of Monday Night RAW and was confronted by The Archer of Infamy. Priest claimed that he'd wanted to cash in against Rollins but settled for McIntyre instead. After a moment of arguing about legacies, Rollins accepted Priest's challenge for Money in the Bank 2024. While Damian will have The Judgment Day with him ringside, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes may show up for The Visionary.
It so happens that it was Seth Rollins' interference and being Rhodes' shield during Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40 that finally allowed The American Nightmare to secure the victory. The Tribal Chief chose to seek revenge a decade after Rollins betrayed him and The Shield and was distracted from the actual task at hand. It was The American Nightmare who walked away with the title, but Rollins didn't get anything in return for protecting the 12-time WWE champion, whose accolades include the WWE, Intercontinental, and RAW and SmackDown Tag Team championships.
Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.
So, at Money in the Bank 2024, Cody Rhodes can return the favor by helping The Visionary secure the win. Rhodes coming out to help Rollins will bring their story full circle. With both of them helping the other to win titles, Rollins and Rhodes can finally go their own way!
Seth Rollins isn't WWE veteran's top choice to face Roman Reigns at SummerSlam
Fans have speculated about a feud between Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns once they are both back in WWE. However, Reigns has Bloodline business to handle as well when he comes back to the squared circle.
WWE veteran Rikishi has a different name in mind than Seth Rollins. In his opinion, once Reigns returns, Solo Sikoa will stand his ground leading to a match at SummerSlam 2024.
"I almost see Roman [Reigns] coming in and Solo [Sikoa] standing his ground, because that could be something with the outstanding performance of Solo holding it down since Roman is out of the picture. He's been doing a very good job of building his brand and holding that part of The Bloodline. I guess they call it Bloodline 2.0."
Currently, Solo Sikoa has taken over The Bloodline's leadership, and Paul Heyman has even officially announced this on WWE SmackDown.
