MacGruber was an SNL sketch that was turned into a major feature film in 2011. MacGruber was essentially a direct parody of a hit 80s tv show MacGyver. The film is in itself was parodying several action films from the 80s and 90s.

Specifically, in the scene where MacGruber recruits all the WWE superstars is reminiscent of Rambo 3 and other films like it. Chris Jericho probably has the most lines in this while the rest are just smiling at the camera as the music plays in the background.

Being a comedy and direct parodies of action films, things don't end well for the WWE wrestlers. Whilst all in the van, they all die in a truck. Not the best role but understandable considering the type of film they were in. Though, the main cast of MacGruber (Will Forte, Kristen Wiig, and Ryan Phillipe) all showed up on WWE Raw to promote the film. Some in the WWE Universe would say it was more memorable than the film itself.
