#4 Hulk Hogan in Rocky III (1982)

Rocky Balboa. The great story that has inspired WWE storytelling for years to come. While Rocky went the distance in Rocky 1, He went on to win the world title in Rocky 2. In Rocky 3, it's best put as a cross between action and drama. Unlike the first 2 films, Rocky Balboa was no longer the underdog.
The film shows what fame can do to a fighter once he goes soft. Moreover, it also depicts the commercial shenanigans that professional fighters engage in. Perhaps, Stallone who also wrote and directed the film drew inspiration of the time that Muhammad Ali tangled with Gorilla Monsoon inside a WWE ring in an impromptu match.
Hulk Hogan plays the part of Thunderlips where he has to take on Rocky Balboa in a charity event. It was supposed to be Boxing vs Wrestling but the scene is played more for laughs then having a serious match. It's also noted that this happened a couple of years before Hulkamania took over the American landscape.
