Dean Ambrose took the WWE World Championship to Shane McMahon's show after successfully defending it against his Shield brothers at Battleground 2016. He had rivalries with Dolph Ziggler and AJ Styles during his reign.
AJ Styles defeated him at Backlash to win his first WWE title. Dean then captured the Intercontinental Championship from the Miz after pinning him on a SmackDown episode.
He carried the IC title to Monday nights where he lost the title to the A-List Superstar at the Extreme Rules PPV. Ambrose then teamed up with Seth Rollins to take on the RAW tag team champions the Bar at SummerSlam 2017.
Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose won the championships and had a two-month long reign before losing it to Sheamus and Cesaro.
The duo again won the tag team title on the 22nd October 2018 episode of RAW but the Lunatic Fringe turned on his brother to send shockwaves in the WWE Universe.
