The New Day have proved out to be one of the best tag teams on both the brands. They were the reigning tag team champions heading into the brand split.
The trio of Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods held on the titles for the next six months before they lost it to the dysfunctional duo of Sheamus and Cesaro at Roadblock.
After hosting WrestleMania 33, the trio moved to Tuesday nights where they had an intense rivalry with the Usos.
Both the tag teams put on classic matches on PPVs and ended their feud with an extreme Hell in a Cell match.
Though the title changed hands multiple times, the Usos emerged victorious from the feud. It took the New Day a good amount of time to win the titles again after they defeated the invincible Bludgeon Brothers in a NO DQ match to win the SD tag team championships.
