The WWE Universe saw American Alpha as the next big thing in the tag team division ever since Jason Jordan and Chad Gable debuted on the main roster.
American Alpha won their first tag team titles after defeating Heath Slater and Rhyno, the Usos and the Wyatt Family in a Fatal 4-way tag team championship match. They lost their championships to the Usos just before WrestleMania 33.
Jason Jordan left the blue brand after RAW General Manager Kurt Angle revealed him as his illegitimate son and signed him.
Jordan performed as a singles competitor before joining the Kingslayer Seth Rollins to win the RAW Tag Team Championships.
WWE Universe showered the former American Alpha member with boos despite the superstar portraying a face character on TV. He got injured just before WrestleMania 34 and has not returned to the ring yet.
