2024 has been one of the biggest years of all time for WWE. The Stamford-based promotion has delivered several great moments to fans such as Cody Rhodes finishing his story, Dominik Mysterio betraying Rhea Ripley, the CM Punk versus Drew McIntyre feud, and Roman Reigns’ struggle to regain the Ula Fala.

As the year comes to an end, here are five ways the company can end it with a bang.

#5. Charlotte Flair could return and become the new WWE Women’s Champion

Charlotte Flair had her last match on December 8, 2024. The Queen has been on an injury hiatus since and her torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus are on the mend. Interestingly, Flair seems to be back in peak competing shape again and could soon return to television.

As of now, Nia Jax doesn’t have any challengers and teamed up with Candice LeRae to compete for the Women’s Tag Titles against Bianca Belair and Naomi last week on SmackDown. Charlotte Flair could return and challenge Jax for an impromptu title match. Thus, the 14-time WWE Women’s Champion could dethrone The Irresistible Force to win the belt for the 15th time.

#4 Tiffany Stratton might finally cash in

Nia Jax’s title reign is also under threat from her ally, Tiffany Stratton. The Buff Barbie has almost cashed in the Money in the Bank contract on Queen Nia multiple times this year. This has led to a lot of tension between both superstars, with Jax keeping Tiffy just close enough to keep a watch on her.

After the duo’s strategy to dethrone Liv Morgan failed, Stratton could focus her attention on Nia Jax again and cash in to begin her first run as the WWE Women’s Champion.

#3. Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes could have a bloodbath for the Undisputed WWE Championship

Kevin Owens has established that he is neither looking to play easy nor play fair in his matches. Cody Rhodes won his Saturday Night’s Main Event title match against KO fair and square, only to be hit with a package piledriver when he least expected it. The Prizefighter also fleed the arena with the prestigious Winged Eagle title after the end of SNME.

This has set the premise for a bloodbath of a brawl between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens. Since Triple H has also gotten involved in the feud by shoving KO when he was posing with the belt after injuring Rhodes, WWE can have an intense closer to end the year on a high note.

#2. Otis might finally get his revenge on Chad Gable

The sparks between Otis and Chad Gable are very intense right now. The former leader of The Alpha Academy had bullied his mentees continuously for several months on RAW. Although the trio of Otis, Maxxine Dupri, and Akira Tozawa are no longer under him, the Olympian still has an enmity with them.

This week on RAW, Gable defeated Tozawa via submission using the Ankle Lock. However, he didn’t let go despite the Japanese wrestler tapping out. Otis had almost unleashed himself on Gable, who hid behind The Creed Brothers.

The Stamford-based promotion could make Tha Alpha Academy member finally bury his former mentor to close the year.

#1. Seth Rollins could finally turn heel once again

Seth Rollins has finally got the chance to kick off his highly personal feud with CM Punk. The Visionary has been agitated ever since The Second City Saint made his WWE return after nine years at the 2023 Survivor Series. Now, the two will face each other in a singles match at RAW’s premiere on Netflix.

The Architect has constantly highlighted that he will end Punk’s career when he gets in the ring with him. Thus, on the final episode of Monday Night RAW this year, Seth Rollins could turn heel once again. He is also in a feud against Roman Reigns, who is also a babyface right now. Thus, The Revolutionary’s heel turn could be a blockbuster move.
