Former real-life partners John Cena and Nikki Bella shared some great moments in the ring together. Not only did Cena propose to Bella in the middle of a WWE ring, but they'd also wrestled together in one too.

The two teamed up in two mixed tag matches in 2017, one in an episode of SmackDown Live and one at WrestleMania 33. And to make matters even better, they went undefeated.

But who were their opponents?

One pair of opponents were The Miz and Maryse.

John Cena reignited his feud with The Miz, leading up to a match at WrestleMania 33, and this time the two former world champions were able to get their real-life partners involved.

While the match itself was fine, the more memorable moment came afterwards, as Cena got down on one knee and proposed to Nikki Bella in the middle of the ring on WWE's Grandest Stage Of Them All.

Carmella and James Ellsworth have the privilege of being the catalyst that led to John Cena and Nikki Bella teaming up in WWE for the first time. The pair antagonized The Champ and Fearless Nikki on SmackDown, leading to a match between the two.

The Miz and Maryse were also on commentary as the goal was to ultimately lead to that WrestleMania 33 mixed tag team match.

#9. & #8. Becky Lynch and John Cena took on Andrade and Zelina Vega

Back when Andrade "Cien" Almas and Zelina Vega still worked for WWE, the pair teamed up to take on two of WWE's most dominant Superstars ever, John Cena and Becky Lynch. The match took place on the December 29th episode of SmackDown Live, in which Becky Lynch trapped Zelina Vega in her arm bar finishing move and made her tap out.

The Champ and The Man predictably made short work of Almas and Vega and will probably go down as one of the strongest mixed tag team pairings the WWE has ever put together in the ring.
