#7. John Cena and Trish Stratus teamed up twice in WWE

John Cena and Becky Lynch may have been the strongest mixed tag team pairing of all time in WWE, but there's another team competing for that crown: Cena and Trish Stratus.

The pair teamed up twice on WWE Monday Night RAW, in 2006 and 2008. They hold a win/lose record of 50% which makes Nikki Bella Cena's most effective female partner so far.

#6. Beth Phoenix and Santino Marella took on John Cena and Trish Stratus

Of course, if John Cena teamed up with Trish Stratus in a mixed tag team match, he needed to share the ring with another woman as an opponent, which leads to another entry into this list!

First, we'll tackle the 2008 match, which was Cena and Stratus against Santino Marella and Beth Phoenix. Cena and Stratus obviously picked up the win by hitting Marella with an Attitude Adjustment to get the pin.

#5. Lita wrestled against John Cena three times, including in singles action!

John Cena's opponents when he teamed with Trish Stratus and Carlito in a losing effort in 2006 were Edge, Randy Orton and Lita, making Lita the next entry on this list.

But more interestingly, Lita is one of the few, if not the only, female superstars to face John Cena in a one-on-one match. This took place on the September 25th, 2006 episode of RAW and it was a No Holds Barred match.

Lita was able to get a few slaps in with Edge looking on from ringside but ultimately Cena made short work of her, hitting her with an Attitude Adjustment and pinning her to win.

#4. Maria Kanellis teamed with John Cena against Edge and Lita

When Edge and John Cena were feuding over the World Heavyweight Championship, Lita was being portrayed as a promiscuous woman using her feminine wiles to help further Edge's career, which... well, it aged poorly.

After Edge and Lita confronted Maria and Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Cena came out and made the save. Vince McMahon paired Cena and Maria up to take on Edge and Lita.

The match ended when Lita tried to distract Cena by lifting her top up, but Cena managed to not fall for the ruse and moved out of the way, which caused Edge to accidentally spear his own partner. And Maria, in her first ever match, picked up the pin.
