It's really heartbreaking to see Paige in a non-wrestling role on Smackdown Live, especially when you realize that her debut back in 2014 was inarguably the biggest WWE main roster debut by a female superstar till that point.

Already the biggest female star on WWE's Developmental Territory NXT as their reigning Women's Champion, Paige arrived on the main roster on the night after WrestleMania XXX to interrupt none other than the Diva's Champion AJ Lee.
Challenged by AJ, who insulted and belittled her, to a match for her Title. Making an impact straight away, WWE's Anti-Diva stunned Lee, and probably every fan in the crowd, by pinning her in the middle of the ring and becoming the Divas Champion on her first night.
If that wasn't enough, she slowly developed into one of the most influential female superstars on the roster, getting embroiled in a feud with Lee that lasted almost a full year.
With Paige retired now, we can only hope for a magic to happen so that we can see her back in the ring someday in the future.
