The most recent entry on this list that came two years back in 2016, and inarguably one of The best of 2016, Finn Balor's arrival on the main roster was exactly the kind of debut that this world-renowned superstar deserved upon making it to the main roster.

Already the biggest star on NXT and the longest Champion on the Developmental Territory, Balor arrived on the main roster a week after he was drafted to Raw during the Brand Extension, and he made sure he had a night to remember for the rest of his life.
Directly inserted into the main event scene, Balor fought two matches on his first night, and won both of them, defeating the likes of Kevin Owens, Cesaro and Roman Reigns, to book his spot in the Universal Title match at Summerslam which, as we all know, he won.
Had it not been for that untimely injury, there is a very good chance that Balor could have held the Universal Champion for a long reign. Even though he is reeling in the mid-card right now, his debut was a majestic start to his WWE main roster career.
