17-time Women's Champion to return and target Bayley at WWE SummerSlam? Exploring potential feud

Bayley has been on a roll ever since she became WWE Women's Champion. After her victory over IYO SKY at WrestleMania 40, she has beaten all challengers that have come her way. Tiffany Stratton, Naomi, and Piper Niven, all have failed to defeat The Role Model. However, come SummerSlam, she may come face-to-face with a 17-time Women's Champion.

The 17-time Women's Champion just so happens to be Charlotte Flair. The Queen hasn't been seen in a WWE ring in the last 196 days. Her last match was against Asuka on an episode of SmackDown on December 8, 2023. Unfortunately, she suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus during her match against The Empress of Tomorrow. It was later announced that she would be out for nine months, but as her condition continues to improve, she could make an early return.

Making her return a month earlier than her expected comeback, Charlotte Flair could target Bayley at SummerSlam 2024. The Role Model is scheduled to take on the Queen of the Ring, Nia Jax with the WWE Women's Championship on the line. Assuming she successfully retains, Charlotte could attack her after the match setting up a feud that has the potential to run all the way through to WrestleMania 41.

It definitely would be a treat for the WWE Universe to see Charlotte Flair back in action. But, at this point, it is nothing more than speculation. There is no telling when Flair will return to in-ring action. The fans will just have to wait and see.

Bayley has already started preparing to face Nia Jax at SummerSlam

Before Bayley can even think about the threat that a returning Charlotte Flair could pose, she has to worry about Nia Jax. After winning the Queen of the Ring tournament, Jax now has the right to challenge The Role Model for the WWE Women's Championship at SummerSlam 2024. With that in mind, it seems as though the champion has already started preparing.

Taking to Instagram, Bayley gave the WWE Universe a sneak peek into her prep for SummerSlam 2024. In particular, she shared her meal prep, which she believes will help her beat The Irresistible Force in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Role Modle will only find out whether or not this proves useful in her quest to overcome Jax on August 3, 2024. Till then, all she can do is defend her title like the fighting champion she is.
