Despite The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and Damian Priest losing their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship to Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes at Fastlane, the faction continues to exert their dominance within WWE.
According to recent reports, it has been indicated that WWE plans on including a WarGames match at the upcoming Survivor Series premium live event in Chicago. Although no official announcement has been made, a men's WarGames match is being considered. In addition, it is speculated that The Judgment Day will be part of the match.
The Judgment Day has recently been embroiled in a rivalry with Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso, thereby raising the potential for a WarGames match involving these individuals. However, in light of Kevin Owens' transition to the SmackDown brand, he might potentially be replaced by 19-year veteran, Seth "Freakin" Rollins.
The storyline justification for Owens's transfer to SmackDown can be attributed to Rhodes bringing Jey Uso to RAW. Rollins is slated to defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre at WWE Crown Jewel 2023. Should Rollins emerge victorious in their upcoming encounter, it may catalyze McIntyre's full transformation into a heel character.
Drew McIntyre could aid The Judgment Day at Survivor Series
If McIntyre were to truly embrace the darker aspects of his character, he could potentially align himself with The Judgment Day. This would set the stage for a four-on-four WarGames match at Survivor Series, featuring Rollins, Jey, Cody, and Zayn on one side, and The Judgment Day faction along with Drew McIntyre on the other.
Although a four-on-four match is still possible, Survivor Series may see some surprises if each side adds a fifth star. Could Rhea Ripley be included to compete against the other male superstars? Will WWE bring back CM Punk, despite the recent report?
