Bill Goldberg last featured in a match against The Undertaker at Super ShowDown which faced huge criticism all over the Internet due to several botches. While it was assumed that it was all but over for Goldberg (at least for the time being,) it seems WWE has some other plans.

If reports are to be believed, WWE could have Goldberg return to face Dolph Ziggler at SummerSlam 2019.

While Goldberg faced the bulk of the criticism for his several botches at Super ShowDown, it was not fair, to be honest. Both 'Taker and Goldberg are currently on the wrong side of 50, and there is only so much that their bodies would allow.

However, on the other hand, The Show-Off seems to be the perfect opponent for The former Universal Champion. Ziggler can take bumps like a champ, and could sell almost anything and everything. Thus, he is one of the few Superstars who could make Goldberg look legit inside the WWE ring.

Thus, a potential Goldberg vs Dolph Ziggler could be the need of the hour, especially for the former WCW Champ to get over the ghosts of Super ShowDown.
