#2 Gained Momentum - Shane McMahon

The Best in the World
The Best in the World

Nobody expected the Prodigal Son to be the biggest heel of the main roster right now, but the Wild Card rule has made the job easy for Shane O' Mac as he now angers the WWE Universe with his heelish activities on both RAW and SmackDown Live. Ring announcer Greg Hamilton has also played a major role in solidifying Shane's position as the Best in the World.

With his regular appearances on the two shows and a heated rivalry with Roman Reigns, McMahon has gained momentum as a heel superstar. Given how popular he was when he returned in 2016, it is hard to believe that he has been able to achieve the tag of the most hated wrestler in WWE.
