#1 Glad that it happened: Ambrose turning babyface
"Slay The Beast", yes, after Seth Rollins was finished with his fiery promo this week on Raw, Dean Ambrose showed up to deliver a message to his former Shield Brother, Seth Rollins to slay the beast at WrestleMania 35.
With this WWE had him turn face and as a matter of fact, he went to defeat EC3 cleanly moments later.
Of all the buzz and speculation surrounding Ambrose's heel turn, all we got was a damp squib. Ambrose not only failed to impress as a heel but also got lost on the mix on the roster. To be honest, it played a huge role in the recent Ambrose's fiasco. However, WWE chose to turn him into a babyface this week on Raw and it could prove to be a masterstroke.
Given Ambrose will leave the WWE upon termination of his contract, he has crowd sympathy and support behind him and the massive pop which he received when he delivered his message to Rollins is the testament to the same.
Thus this recent turn would certainly boost up the ratings and who knows, a Shield reunion could be on the cards before Ambrose's departure.
