Widely regarded by fans as being a truly underrated wrestler during the WWE's Ruthless Aggression Era, John Morrison is undoubtedly one of the top Indie wrestlers Vince McMahon has his eyes set on. While Morrison had some success in the WWE (ECW, Intercontinental, and Tag Team Championship reigns), many believed John should've been given more opportunities at the top of the card because Morrison had "all the tools" required to be a top tier WWE Superstar.

Since 2012, John Morrison has been doing well for himself on the Independent wrestling scene, and he now wrestles under the ring name "Johnny Mundo" in Lucha Underground, and "Johnny Impact" in Impact Wrestling. Apparently, Vince McMahon has been interested in bringing back the former ECW Champion to the WWE the past couple years, and without question, this possibility may become a reality in the near future when the company looks to replace some of their releases in 2019. Morrison would undoubtedly add loads to NXT and the main roster -- hopefully this time around, John would be utilized as a top star...
