Kalisto vs Roderick Strong
Roderick Strong and Kalisto came out to face each other in the 2nd Quarter Final Match of the Tournament to join Alexander in the Semi-Finals.
Roderick took to grappling as he grounded Kalisto early on with arm locks. Kalisto sped up the match as the two reversed each other's moves. Kalisto hit Strong with two Hurricanrana's and then a kick to the face for a near-fall. Strong reversed Kalisto and hit him with a sudden backbreaker.
He hit Kalisto with a huge strike, but Kalisto made space and hit Strong with a huge Hurricanrana, sending him out of the ring. Kalisto followed him out with a Suicide Dive.
Kalisto hit Roderick with a dropkick through the ropes and went for a Hurricanrana. It looked like Strong caught him, but Kalisto was still able to send him with a Hurricanrana into the barricade.
Kalisto broke the count and came back outside, only to be suplexed by Roderick Strong onto the Announce Desk. Strong kept attacking Kalisto, hitting him with strikes, and then hit him with a Backbreaker.
Strong worked on Kalisto's lower back and hit a knee into the ribs of Kalisto. Strong mocked Kalisto and hit him with a Dropkick. He locked in the Back Breaker on Kalisto on his shoulder.
Kalisto escaped but was able to hit Strong with a Hurricanrana, followed by a Springboard off the middle rope. He hit Strong with a Kick to the chest and a Basementrana. He went for the Salida Del Sol, but Strong strung him up on the top rope. Strong hit him with an Olympic Slam with a near-fall. He went for the End of Heartache but was reversed. Strong hit him with two sharp kicks, but Kalisto reversed his Tiger Driver with a roll-up for a near-fall.
Strong was going for a move from the top rope, but Kalisto reversed and hit Strong with an Arm Drag from the top rope for a near-fall. Kalisto hit him with a Superkick and Strong hit him with a knee. He followed it up with a backbreaker and the End of Heartache for the win.
Result: Roderick Strong defeated Kalisto
Roderick Strong went into the semi-finals, while the commentators talked about Ali and Murphy's match the following week, as well as the match between Mark Andrews and Drew Gulak.
