#3 Never defeated: Samoa Joe
Samoa Joe has lost all three of his major World Championship rivalries during his two-and-a-half years on WWE’s main roster (vs. Brock Lesnar in 2017, vs. AJ Styles in 2018, and vs. Kofi Kingston in 2019).
Despite those high-profile losses, “The Samoan Submission Machine” has still been able to put together some impressive victories, especially in June 2017 when he defeated Bray Wyatt, Finn Balor, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns in a Fatal 5-Way match at Extreme Rules to determine the new #1 contender for Brock Lesnar’s Universal Championship.
One week prior to the show, Joe picked up another statement-making victory on Raw, defeating Wyatt and Balor in a Triple Threat match to send a message to his rivals before the PPV.
Although Joe and Wyatt are yet to meet one-on-one in a televised encounter, “The Eater of Worlds” has still had two opportunities to defeat the former NXT Champion but he has failed on both occasions.
