#2 Failed: Drew McIntyre

Braun Strowman joined forces with Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler, aka “The Dogs of War”, after SummerSlam 2018 as he attempted to recruit allies in his battle against Roman Reigns and the rest of The Shield.

The makeshift trio had success on the October 8 episode of Raw when they defeated their dysfunctional rivals in a six-man tag team match, but Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose were victorious in the other two encounters between the factions.

One week after their triumph, the team of Strowman, McIntyre and Ziggler attempted to win for the second week in a row against “The Hounds of Justice” in a rematch on Raw. However, McIntyre accidentally hit a Claymore on Strowman, causing the heel trio to lose, and he followed up by purposely landing the move on his tag team partner again after the match.

“The Monster Among Men” has often mentioned in media interviews that he believes that a match between himself and McIntyre is strong enough to headline any WWE show, even WrestleMania, but their only one-on-one encounter to date ended in a disqualification after just six minutes.

Regardless of whether or not their paths cross as enemies again one day, do not expect these two men to team up any time in the near future!
