Before suffering a potentially career-ending neck injury, Jason Jordan played an obliviously obnoxious babyface character on Monday Night Raw in late 2017/early 2018.

During this time, Kurt Angle’s storyline son formed an unusual alliance with Seth Rollins and the two men even won the Raw Tag Team titles from The Bar on the Christmas Day 2017 episode of Raw.

In January 2018, Jordan became an honorary member of The Shield when he teamed with Rollins & Roman Reigns against Finn Balor, Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows, but the former American Alpha member’s one and only televised tag team match with “The Big Dog” ended in failure.

Not only did the makeshift Shield trio lose the match, with Balor pinning Rollins after a Coup de Grace, but the finger was pointed at Jordan after he inexplicably distracted the referee at the same time that Reigns was set to make a crucial tag.
