While talking about his Summerslam 2014 match against Seth Rollins, Moxley revealed that he wanted to use a set of pliers in the match to add to the drama. His plan was to make the audience believe that he was going to use the tool to severely hurt Rollins.

Vince suggested Moxley to instead use Rollins' signature move Curb Stomp on him. Both Moxley and Rollins were impressed with Vince's idea and thought that the old man's still got it.
