His initial tenure with the company was incredible, with Michaels having a far-more power behind the curtains than any other superstar.
His time with Triple H working under D-Generation X was innovative, refreshing, and bold. The Show-Stopper, unfortunately left the wrestling role in 1998, and started participating in more non-wrestling roles for almost two years.
However, his return to wrestling in 2002 was sensational, with Michaels becoming a more technical wrestler, and became an even more flexible performer.
His matches with Kurt Angle, Bret Hart, Triple H, Ric Flair, John Cena, Vince McMahon, Stone Cold, and the Undertaker were incredible.
His feud with the Undertaker, however, remains the greatest rivalry of our generation, with their match at WrestleMania 25, being the greatest WrestleMania match of all time.
He is a two-time Royal Rumble winner, with the only superstar winning from the first spot, and also became the first-ever WWF Grand Slam Champion.
While a lot of the independent stars competing today idolize HBK, there has been no performer in the industry who could match his credibility.
With many of his matches being hailed as timeless classics, it only justifies that Shawn Michaels was truly a wrestling machine and the Show-Stopper!
