Since technical amateur wrestling began to flourish during the Ruthless Aggression Era, Kurt Angle's feud with Brock Lesnar became one of the most talked about feuds on the blue brand.

There's no denying that their 60-minute Iron man match is beyond a shadow of a doubt; the greatest televised match in the blue brand's coveted and remarkable history.

With Brock Lesnar beginning to prepare for a meteoric rise in the WWE, his chemistry with Kurt Angle in this bout really got the audience hooked, with the Beast Incarnate dominating the initial portions of the encounter by ruthlessly assaulting the WWE Champion.

There was a certain rage in Brock Lesnar that clashed with Angle's technical style of wrestling and made this encounter even more special and memorable.
