Baszler who holds the record of being the longest-reigning NXT Women's Champion could be pushed hard in 2020, beginning at the Royal Rumble.
She is the odds-on favorite to win the Women's Royal Rumble, setting up a dream match against current RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch, at WrestleMania 36.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer recently noted that Baszler is one of the favorites to win at this year's Rumble, which could be the start of her big push. At the 2019 Survivor Series, Baszler defeated RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch and SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley, to give NXT the bragging rights.
This potential feud between Lynch and Baszler has been teased for a while, and there's a strong possibility that it could be set-up later this month at Royal Rumble after Baszler wins it.
