A recap played of the main event last week between Hideo Itami and Mustafa Ali. The commentary team focused on Ali's collapse after the match before Drake Maverick was interviewed backstage by Kayla Braxton.
Maverick said that Ali has been suffering from a case of exhaustion. The GM went on to say that he blamed himself for putting him in so many high impact matches over the past few months and that he won't be allowed to wrestle again until Maverick feels he is 100%.

Hideo Itami vs Trent Newman (Local talent)
Itami took the fight to Newman, forcing him into the corner with strikes and hitting him with multiple uppercuts. Itami then followed Newman around the ring with kicks to the chest. However, as Itami yelled at the WWE Universe and demanding respect, his opponent fought back, attempting a roll-up.
Itami didn't go down, however, picking Newman up and delivering a vicious clothesline. After a bit more punishment, he pinned Newman but broke it up at two. He then slammed him down with a Falcon Arrow, but again stopped the pin at two.
Finally, Itami moved Newman into the corner where he landed two hesitation dropkicks. Before he could go for a third, the referee stopped the match.
Results: Hideo Itami defeated Trent Newman via referee stoppage.
Newman barely made it back to his feet after a minute before Itami came back in to drop him with his finisher.
Just like Gulak, a hype video was played for the Cruiserweight Champion, Cedric Alexander. The champ said that even though Gulak has backup in Jack Gallagher and Brian Kendrick, he's ready for the assault. Alexander went on to claim that the difference between the two of them is that Gulak is a man of words while Alexander is a man of action.
The video finished with Alexander comparing the deadliness of the Gu-Lock and the Lumbar Check, stating that once he lands the Lumbar Check, it's over.
