Drake Maverick was backstage when Buddy Murphy and Tony Nese came in. Maverick congratulated the two on their win last week but said that, due to their antics, he's giving the Lucha House Party another chance next week in a tornado tag match.

Noam Dar vs TJP was also announced for next week, as the two cruiserweight stars look to compete in their rubber match.

Cedric Alexander vs Jack Gallagher

Prior to the match, the commentary team again talked about Drew Gulak's comparison between Alexander and Brock Lesnar, yet again using 205 Live to hype up Lesnar vs Reigns at Summerslam.

Jack Gallagher baited Cedric Alexander at the beginning of the match, forcing the champion to chase him around the ring. After Gallagher and Alexander got out the ropes, the two traded pin attempts several times before Alexander stopped the action, picking him up.

Gallagher escaped, getting into the corner and setting up his headstand spot. Alexander went in and Gallagher escaped the corner, only to be tossed across the ring by a hurricanrana and knocked to the outside with a dropkick by the champ. Alexander went for a dive, but Gallagher went under the ring, blindsiding him from the other side.

Gallagher beat down Alexander, but the Soul of 205 Live quickly fought back, knocking Gallagher to the outside again, this time following up with a suicide dive. Alexander continued the assault, but Gallagher forced him into the ring post, then clubbed Alexander with repeated elbows, finally putting him back in the ring.

Gallagher put the champ in a headlock, putting a heavy amount of torque on his neck, weakening him for Drew Gulak's Gu-Lock at Summerslam. Gallagher put Alexander in the corner then assaulted him with a barrage of punches, followed by a snap mare back to the middle of the ring.

Gallagher continued to work over Alexander's upper body with submission holds, followed by a neck breaker and three separate pin attempts, with the champion kicking out at two each time.

Frustrated, Gallagher put Alexander in a straitjacket surfboard stretch, then transitioned into another three-quarter nelson. Alexander attempted to use his strength to toss Gallagher off, but the dastardly submission specialist held on.

After some time, Alexander finally escaped, hitting two out of three suplexes before Gallagher escaped, only to be met by a spinning back fist and a neuralizer.

Gallagher managed to get the upper hand again, though and chased Alexander into the turnbuckle. However, the champ went to the apron, catching Gallagher with a boot and following up with a springboard clothesline.

Gallagher kicked out at two, then hung Alexander across the second rope, further damaging his neck. Gallagher went to the top, landing a diving knee on the back of Alexander's neck.

Before the champion could breathe, Gallagher locked in the crossface, only for Alexander to turn it into a pin attempt, with Gallagher kicking out at two. An Alexander chant began as he fought his way back to his feet. An attempted Lumbar Check turned into a guillotine headlock by Gallagher, nearly forcing him to tap out. Alexander turned him inside out, instead, with a Michinoku Driver.

The competitors slowly made it to their feet at the count of seven. Alexander went for another springboard clothesline, but Gallagher was ready, rolling out of harm's way before taking Alexander down with a Gentleman's Dropkick in the corner. Alexander barely got his foot on the rope in time, and the ref broke up the pin. Gallagher picked him up from the mat into a gutwrench powerbomb, still only getting a two-count.

Gallagher set up another dropkick, but Alexander caught him with a Spanish Fly, finally picking up the win.

Results: Cedric Alexander defeated Jack Gallagher via pinfall.

Cedric Alexander made his way back up the ramp, with momentum on his side heading into Summerslam. However, Brian Kendrick blindsided him and took him back to the ring. Alexander knocked Gallagher back outside and popped Kendrick up into the Lumbar Check, but Drew Gulak finally took him out with the Gu-Lock, leaving Alexander passed out.

Drew Gulak stood tall to end the broadcast.
