A recap was then shown of Cedric Alexander's championship celebration three weeks ago, which ended with Buddy Murphy hitting Alexander with Murphy's Law.
Backstage, Gulak was seen preparing for his next match. He cut a promo on Kalisto, stating that the Luchador squandered his opportunity to capture the title. Gulak stated that, unlike last week, he's at 100% tonight and will prove to the WWE Universe that flying around the ring isn't how you win on 205 Live.

Buddy Murphy vs Local Competitor
Buddy Murphy returned to action this week, as the Best Kept Secret made his way to the ring once again. This week, Murphy barely made it by his weigh-in, coming in at 204 lbs.
A video was shown, which showed Murphy clearing weight. However, unlike before, Murphy didn't shake Drake Maverick's hand. Murphy demanded his title match.
Murphy ran right to his opponent's corner, assaulting him before slamming him to the ground with a suplex. Murphy kicked him in the head a few times before his opponent caught him with a forearm to the jaw.
He went to kick Murphy, but Murphy countered it into a triple powerbomb. However, Murphy let him go before the three-count. The ref instead called for the bell, raising Murphy's hand. Murphy won the match via knockout.
Results: Buddy Murphy won by KO
After the match, Cedric Alexander came out ready for a fight. Alexander dropped the belt and ran to Murphy. Alexander got the better of Murphy at first before Murphy kicked him off. Murphy ran with the Cruiserweight Champion chasing him off.
Next up, Kalisto looks to defeat Drew Gulak again.
