2017 may be considered the biggest year for Roman Reigns. It was the year where he put The Deadman down.
At WWE Wrestlemania, Roman Reigns competed in this 3rd Wrestlemania main event in a row, where he faced The Undertaker in a No Holds Barred match. The Big Dog was victorious over The Undertaker, in what many speculate to be The Undertaker's final match. As a result, Roman Reigns becomes the only 2nd superstar to defeat The Undertaker at Wrestlemania, after Brock Lesnar.
Roman Reigns then went on to have a memorable feud with Braun Strowman, with both superstars getting the better of each other. Even after losing his match to Braun at WWE Great Balls of Fire in an ambulance match, Roman locked him in the ambulance before driving it backwards into a production truck.
The Big Dog also had brief feud with John Cena with both of them launching classic promos at each other, which ended at WWE No Mercy with The Big Dog standing tall over John Cena.
Reigns would then join his Shield brothers, and reunite the trio. Roman Reigns competed alongside The Shield against The New Day at WWE Survivor Series, where the Shield emerged victorious.
The following night on Raw, Roman Reigns defeated The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship, thus becoming the 28th "Triple Crown" and the 17th "Grand Slam Champion".
