29-year-old superstar to attack LA Knight during his confrontation with Logan Paul? Exploring the possibility

This week's episode of SmackDown will finally see LA Knight confront Logan Paul. After failing to win the top prize of the Undisputed WWE Championship, Knight has now turned his attention to the United States Champion. He has called Paul out on social media, gone to his house, and will now exchange words with him in the ring tonight. But, Knight could be in for a surprise, as a 29-year-old superstar may choose to interfere with the proceedings.

The 29-year-old superstar is none other than Carmelo Hayes. It's no secret that Hayes isn't too fond of LA Knight, and vice-versa. The two have had plenty of heated exchanges backstage and were even involved in a scuffle between The Street Profits and A-Town Down Under. Given that Hayes believes it is time for the young talent to shine and "oldheads" like Knight to step aside, there is a chance he could attack The Megastar tonight.

As planned, LA Knight will come out and confront Logan Paul. But, if there is one thing to know about The Maverick, it's that he is cunning. What's more, he isn't averse to getting help from the outside. There could be a point during the face-to-face between Paul and Knight, where the latter is vulnerable. Seizing the opportunity, Carmelo Hayes could come out and attack him, all while Paul sits back and watches.

It certainly would add a twist to this already entertaining storyline. Who knows? Perhaps Hayes could be inserted into a triple-threat match alongside Paul, and Knight where the United States Championship is on the line. But, this is all just speculation, and there is no telling how things will unfold on tonight's SmackDown.

LA Knight has not won a title since moving to the main roster

There is no denying that LA Knight lives up to his nickname, The Megastar. However, while he does have the admiration and support of the WWE Universe, his enemies might argue that he hasn't done much in his WWE career. After all, he is yet to win a title since moving to the main roster.

Back in NXT, Knight had a short stint as the Million Dollar Champion. That said, it is his only major accomplishment since returning to WWE in 2021. As mentioned earlier, he has had several chances to win the Undisputed WWE Championship. But, he has never been able to get the job done.

The fans are eagerly awaiting to finally see LA Knight with a championship belt on the main roster. He might finally win some gold if Paul agrees to a title match.
